Head off to your local DIY store and pick up yourself some glow in the dark paint either spray or brush on. We are talking glow in the dark and not day-glo type bright paints. Give your leads and heads a good few coats and see the bites come quicker.
My wife and I fished the same rig just feet apart and the glow leads had upto 5 times more hits. They stay light at depth and can retain light for upto 20 hours depending on type of paint. To recharge the paints effects leave them in the sun for 5 minutes, thats all.
This only works on leads and heads right by the hook ( less than 2cm ), you know its working by the bite chips off the paint after a days fishing. To renew, just sand and repaint…….easy !!
