Southwest 20 knots, but 30 knots offshore south of Mahia Peninsula. Easing to 20 knots offshore this morning. Easing to variable 10 knots south of East Cape this afternoon. Rough sea offshore, easing. Southwest swell rising to 3 metres. Fair visibility in showers this evening.

Outlook
Outlook following 3 days: Becoming Monday morning southerly 15 knots, and later Tuesday variable 10 knots. Southwest swell becoming heavy Monday and easing Wednesday.
