Northerly 20 knots rising to 35 knots this afternoon. Easing to northwest 20 knots but 30 knots about East Cape tonight. Sea becoming very rough for a time. Northeast swell 2 metres at times. Southeast swell 1 metre easing.

Outlook
Outlook following 3 days: Northwest 20 knots, change Wednesday morning and afternoon to southerly 15 knots in the south. Becoming early Thursday southeast 15 knots but 25 knots in the north with rough sea, easing Friday to easterly 15 knots throughout. Moderate southwest swell developing Friday.
