Northwest 20 knots. Easing to variable 10 knots south of East Cape this morning, and to northwest 10 knots in the north this evening. Moderate sea easing. Northeast swell 2 metres, easing. Southerly swell rising to 2 metres.

Outlook following 3 days: Southeast 15 knots rising Thursday morning to 25 knots in the north, rising Saturday to 25 knots but 35 knots in the north with very rough sea. Moderate easterly swell developing Saturday.
