Northwest 25 knots but 35 knots about East Cape. Changing southwest 30 knots south of Mahia Peninsula tonight. Sea very rough about East Cape. Northeast swell 2 metres, easing. Poor visibility developing in heavy, thundery showers in the south tonight.

Outlook

Outlook following 3 days: Becoming early Thursday southwest 35 knots everywhere with very rough sea, then easing Friday 20 knots. Southeast swell developing on Thursday and becoming heavy on Friday, then easing Saturday.
