Southwest 35 knots, easing to 20 knots late this afternoon. Becoming southeast 25 knots but 35 knots about East Cape in the morning, and rising to 35 knots in the south during Saturday afternoon. Rising to 50 knots Saturday night. Sea becoming high. Southerly swell rising to 4 metres. Easterly swell 3 metres developing. Poor visibility developing in rain Saturday afternoon, with some heavy falls.

Outlook

Outlook following 3 days: Southwest 45 knots, easing Monday westerly 25 knots and dying out late Monday. Becoming Tuesday southeast 35 knots. High sea easing Monday. Heavy southerly swell easing Saturday. Easterly swell becoming heavy for a time Sunday and Monday.
