Northwest 35 knots, becoming southwest 35 knots south of Mahia and 25 knots elsewhere early morning. Easing to 15 knots everywhere late morning and to variable 10 knots this afternoon, then becoming northwest 20 knots in the evening. Very rough sea easing. Southwest swell 2 metres.

Outlook following 3 days: Change late Friday southwest 15 knots rise Saturday southerly 30 knots, ease Sunday 10 knots. Sea rough Saturday. Moderate southwest swell.
