About East Cape: Southerly 35 knots, becoming southwest 25 knots this evening. Elsewhere: Southerly 15 knots rising to 25 knots but 35 knots offshore this morning. Sea very rough at times. Easterly swell rising to 4 metres. Fair visibility in showers and rain, easing Sunday evening.

Outlook following 3 days: Southwest easing Monday morning 15 knots, tend Monday afternoon northwest 10 knots, change Tuesday southwest 15 knots. Heavy easterly swell tending southerly Monday and easing Tuesday.
