Northwest 30 knots but 40 knots about East Cape. Easing to westerly 15 knots but 25 knots in the north this evening. Very rough sea in north, easing. Northeast swell 1 metre, easing. Southerly swell 1 metre. Poor visibility in showers developing south of Mahia tonight.

Outlook

Outlook following 3 days: Change Tuesday morning southwest 20 knots. Becoming Tuesday night westerly 30 knots in north with rough sea, change late Wednesday southerly 25 knots then dying out early Thursday. Moderate southwest swell developing for a time late Tuesday.
